SocialLeaderboardDataRequest only returns leaderboard data that contains entries of players that are game friends with the current player.
Thanks,

So what does social:true do on the LeaderboardDataRequest? How is that different?

Ditto to this question. The API makes it seem like the Social specific function is redundant, but from the behavior described here it sounds like the regular request doesn't succeed? How does this also tie in with the AroundMe requests. Specifically for getting around me with my social friends - is that possible? I'll be checking, but does social:true work in AroundMe? Has it been fixed in the regular leaderboard request since this post?
Cheers,
Alan

Come'on. No further answer on this? This is like of huge importance. Social parameter literally do nothing? And boths requests LeaderboardDataRequest and SocialLeaderboardDataRequest have the social parameters. Why do they have it if it's no use? And about AroundMeLeaderboardRequest? Does social parameter really works? I need to know.

I've made some tests. Even with SocialLeaderboard Request I got inconsistent data in return. Some times it only returns me 1 player data, the player logged in (wrong). After some time trying again without logging out it returns me all my friends along (the correct one). How can I rely on this information?

If I use LeaderboardDataRequest with option social:true I'm not getting my connected facebook friends.
If I use SocialLeaderboardDataRequest I do get my connected facebook friends.
What's the difference?
