TeamName ?

Hi !

When creating a team we can assign a name, that's great. I can see that it is there in the NoSQL explorer.

My question now is: how do you accces this name? I don't see it in the cloud code, nor in the response on client side. I wanted to customize the response, but I cannot find how to access this field...

Hi Stephane,

We will be adding a new method for just that purpose in an upcoming release (possibly not the next one).

Check the announcement section for updates soon.

Thanks,

Oisin

Hi Oisin,

Any news regarding this topic? I couldn't find it in any Platform Release news from the last 4 month. :)

Best Regards,

Ingo

Hi Ingo,

this is in our feature backlog and will be implemented in the near future. However the TeamName can be gotten from the client. Here is an example in Unity:

new GameSparks.Api.Requests.GetTeamRequest()
                            .SetTeamType("testTeam")
                            .Send(teamResp => {
                                if(!teamResp.HasErrors)
                                {
                                    foreach(var teams in teamResp.Teams)
                                    {
                                        Debug.Log("The team Name is" + teams.TeamName);
                                    }

                                }

                            });

Hope this helps.

Best Regards, Patrick.
