I have the opposite problem. My game as been a work in progress for a long time but I just started integrated push notifications in it and I'm trying to localize them.
How does a translation get selected?
Alternatively, is there a way to upgrade my game/portal to use segments? I've not used them at all until now.

Hi Gabriel,
Yes you can add segments to your game at any time. We have a guide on how to set them up here. You can also set a players segment using setSegmentValue in cloud code after you have got these configured. then in each individual message you can change the configuration for specific segments. If you have any other questions just let me know.
Thanks,
Liam

Yeah I figured how to use segments. But I apparently have an old/deprecated version of the portal and I can't use segments for localization of messages. There is only a "Translations" box as you can see in the image.
How can I use the "Translations" boxes?

Hi Gabriel,
I'm not sure if you can still use these. Can you try creating a new game on the portal, then creating a new snapshot in your old game and copying it to the new one ? If you can see the new segment configuration from there in messages then you should be good to go. If not I'll have a member of the dev team look into this some more for you.
Thanks,
Liam

Hi Liam,
I confirm that I have the same setup when copying the game. I'd appreciate it a lot if you could ask someone about this.

Hi Gabriel,
It looks like you have some languages selected in your ScriptMessage window. If you click on the languages button and remove english and french from "supported" you should see the segments again for your messages.

We just started a second game, and we tried to add localisation in our push notification but the language button is not there as in the other game.
Where can I add language into the developper portal ?
