The "c." just means circa

**What's the relationship between 10,000 MAU and 100K aggregate DAU - is this saying we can have 100,000 DAU? How does that equate to 10,000 MAU?**

In terms of relating DAU to MAU this is clearly widely variable by game. The ratio of DAU / MAU is how we measure engagement. So if your game, gets played every day by your players (maximum engagement) then the ratio would be 1 (or 100%). Therefore if you had 10,000 DAUs you would also have 10,000 MAUs and that would be free on the GameSparks platform.

DAU pricing is billed monthly. If you have an average of 10,000 DAUs, at the end of the month you would be billed 10,000 x DAU Rate x 30. The "aggregate DAUs" are the total number billed monthly which is Average DAU x 30.

On our website, we have assumed that the DAU / MAU rate is 33% and that is how we have equated 10,000 MAUs to 100K Aggregate DAUs.

As the engagement of the game improves, a figure of 10,000 MAU would equate to more DAUs. As the engagement lowers, it equates to less. Our assumption of 33% is too high ... we will probably make this clearer on the next update of the website. Industry benchmarks suggest 10% is average for a mobile game. In this case 10,000 MAUs would equate to 1,000 DAUs = 30,000 Aggregate DAUs. Make sense?

**Finally ...**

We are happy to offer you a DAU pricing model on request. Further more, for those that sign up to terms, we would implement a solution where on a monthly basis we would charge you the lesser of the DAU bill or the MAU bill. ## Karl Bridger

Hi, I'm a little confused with regard to what references to MAU (Monthly Active Users) and DAU (Daily Active Users) refer to in the context of pricing.

The pricing page stages (using Free for an example) 10,000 MAU but then states "c. 100K aggregate DAU"

Questions:

What does "c." mean?

What's the relationship between 10,000 MAU and 100K aggregate DAU - is this saying we can have 100,000 DAU? How does that equate to 10,000 MAU?

I'm sure I'm just missing something fundamental here :)

Cheers,

Karl
